John Bainbridge

Bio

​

Born 1946 in Castletown, Sunderland, Co. Durham

Studied in Sheffield from where I was introduced to the Peak District.

Awarded a Bachelor of Education degree from Sheffield University...1968

Spent a lot of time on the land walking, climbing,pot-holing and fell running in all conditions, day and night!

Worked in Sheffield Primary schools as teacher,Headteacher from 1969.

Took up making art works full time following my retirement in 2014.

Currently occupying a studio at Bloc Studios Sheffield.
